pertains to you, the student.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Construction
Careers Center
Charter High
School is to prepare students in grades nine
through twelve for the future by providing an excellent foundation in
academics, broad exposure to the construction industry, and relevant
vocational education preparation. The school’s
curriculum is specifically designed by the construction industry to prepare
students for entry into direct employment, a construction
apprenticeship-training program, a community college or a four-year degree
institution. The school will implement strategies to encourage each student
to develop the necessary skills, attitudes and work ethic to be successful
in their chosen area of concentration.
The 2005-2006 student year
began on August 22, 2005. Holidays that will be observed include
Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Winter Break, the Martin Luther
King holiday, Presidents' Day, Spring Break and Memorial Day.

You can get the latest facts about the school
and different activities when you read the latest publication of the BluePrint, your school's
newspaper. The BluePrint webpage lists all
the issues of the BluePrint and can be viewed by
either laying your mouse over "General Information" in the list
to the left of this text, and then moving your mouse to
"Publication", then move and left click your mouse over "BluePrint" to view all the issues or you can click
on the blue text in this paragraph. Upcoming events will be posted in
each edition of the BluePrint. To learn

You can view pictures and information regarding
the background of your favorite teachers by viewing the Staff
Biography page. To access this page, lay your mouse over
"General Information" in the list to the left of this text, move
your mouse over to "Staff Biographies", and left click your
mouse, or click on the blue text in this paragraph.
Mentoring is a big deal at the Construction
Careers Centers. Partnerships have been established with both the Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Eastern Missouri and ACE.
You can learn about either one of these programs by visiting their
websites. There are two ways to get there. You can either click on
the blue text in this paragraph, or, you can
mouse-over "General Information", mouse-over "Other
Programs", then select "Mentoring Partnerships".
Articulation Agreements are agreements between
various Trade Apprenticeship Programs and the Construction Careers
Center, that allow
students of the charter high school to enter directly into one of the
Apprenticeship Programs upon graduation. You can learn more by
visiting the Articulation Agreements
page. To view this page you can mouse-over "Current
Students", then select "Articulation Agreements", or click
